Starlites Competitive
The Starlites Competitive Dance Teams were formed in February
1999. We have eight competitive dance teams;
Primary (K-3rd), Elementary (3rd-6th), Juniors (6th - 9th) and Seniors
(8th-12th).
The teams practice and compete year-round. We also participate
in a variety of community events and parades.Our State, Regional and National
Champion teams compete in the pom, jazz, lyrical and hip-hop categories.We
are the current 2008 National Dance Champions in the Primary, Elementary,
Junior and Senior High Divisions!
The Starlites are coached by by Christie Charron, Laurie Charron, Alexis DeCapua and are under the direction of Mrs. Lynne
Hearn. Executive Director is Mrs. Laurie Charron, owner of Huron Physical
Arts Center. If you love to dance, give us a call. We just might have
a spot for you!

The Starlites Senior Competitive Dance team from the Huron Physical Arts Center was invited to perform at half-time of the Pistons-Orlando Magic basketball game on Tuesday, November 3rd at the Palace of Auburn Hills. The team auditioned and was approved by the NBA for their performance. Over 100 family and friends from the Port Huron area attended the game to cheer the girls on. The team members are from Port Huron Northern High School, Port Huron High, Marysville High School, Yale High School and Richmond High School. The Starlites have won numerous State and National dance championship awards over the past 11 years.
